Brickwork Technician Course

Your First Step to Mastering Masonry

What is a Brickwork Technician?

A Brickwork Technician is a specialist in modern masonry construction, with skills that go beyond traditional bricklaying. Technicians are trained to install advanced systems such as cavity trays, brick slip cladding, masonry supports, damp proof courses (DPC), windposts, fire barriers, and more. These systems are critical for structural integrity, fire safety, and regulatory compliance in today’s complex buildings.
This course has been developed in response to new demands in the construction industry and aligns with the Enhanced Brickwork Technician Qualification, a qualification launched to upskill the workforce in areas where there is a recognised national shortage.
